Beauty and the Beast

August 30, 2009

Dear High School Musical Directors,

It is with great pleasure that I can now offer you a complete Beauty and the Beast collection.  Please take a moment to peruse our photos and see if we can help you.  We have taken great care in their production and some have already been shown with great success.

Our Beast costume is still in production but will be completed by the first week in September.  It features blue velvet, sequin encrusted tailcoat, brocade vest, shirt and pants. A second duplicate costume includes a padded chest for the enchanted beast.  We also have the option of a fantastic Beast mask* that is available at an additional cost.  The mask has plenty of room for a wireless microphone to accommodate amplification of the actor’s voice.  The same artist that produced the Broadway mask makes this mask. It is truly magnificent.  The mask allows for a much quicker transition from the enchanted Beast to the Prince for the finale.

The main enchanted costumes also have a human costume for the finale. Additional enchanted costumes can be made upon request with enough lead-time. (This does not include the month of October.)

Our costumes include hats and boots or boot toppers for the male peasant and townspeople as well as petticoats and hoop skirts as indicated for the female characters.

Cost will vary by the number of costumes required for your event.  For example: you may need 10 female and five male peasants.  You will need to multiple your needs by the actual cost per costume.

We pro-rate our costumes for the second week of rental.  This cost is one-half the original price. If you need your costumes longer, please call us for additional price reductions.

The prices quoted are for pick up only.  If delivery is requested, there will be a $45 basic fee and a $.48 mileage round trip fee applied.

Deposits are required to reserve your request and will be refunded when the costumes are returned in good condition and on time. You have no additional cleaning charges applied to the rental fee. Damaged costumes will be assessed against the original deposit.

Please call us at 815 233 1861 to request our price list or for any questions you may have.

*The Beast mask requires a deposit of $400, which is returned when the mask is returned in good condition and on time.
